3D printing for beginners - complete guide

Just starting your 3D printing journey? This guide will walk you through the basics.

FDM 3D printing (Fused Deposition Modeling) involves layering heated plastic that hardens and creates a three-dimensional object. It's the most popular and accessible 3D printing technology.

For printing, you need a 3D file in STL, 3MF, or OBJ format. You can design it yourself (e.g., in Fusion 360, Blender), download a ready model from the internet (Thingiverse, Printables), or order a design from us.

Not every shape can be printed. FDM 3D printing has limitations - elements must have a base, protruding parts require supports, and very thin walls can be problematic.

Material choice depends on application. PLA for prototypes and decorations, PETG for functional elements, TPU for flexible parts.

How to order your first print? Send us a file or description of what you need. We'll advise the best solution and prepare a quote. You don't need to know about 3D printing - we'll help at every stage.
